What is CrossFit?

By definition CrossFit describes its strength and conditioning program as: “Constantly varied functional movement performed at high intensities across broad time and modal domains.”

As we break down this definition we see that it simply means that CrossFit does not specialize. CrossFit is literally a program that encourages humans exercise at high intensities which are scaled according to ability.  It encourages us to not restrict the duration of the workout to, short, or long. And it demands that we move in all types of natural ways, such as bending lifting, throwing, pressing pushing and pulling. Life is unpredictable; therefore, CrossFit constantly challenges us to RISE to the occasion. This approach to exercise and life puts us in a position to be the fittest and most prepared for anything that life throws our way.
